Wow, I just realized that this is my first blog of 2010! I hope all of you are enjoying the new year so far. I have been on a creative kick the past few weeks-- I start a project and get half-way thru and have an idea for a new one!! One of my goals this year is to finish things I start...
Lately, I have been letting the excitment and anxiousness about moving get the best of me. Grady hasn't even gotten orders yet and the suspense is killing me!! I would like to know in advance (more than two months, at least) if we are going to move across the country, ya know? I know he is getting tired of me asking him, "have you heard anything?" Honestly, I am starting to annoy myself. When we got orders to Chicago, we had 1 month to prepare, find a house, and move before he started work. I'm not sure I can handle all the rushing around again-- it was SOOOO stressful last time!! I really should put all my crafting aside and focus on going thru boxes (that are STILL sitting in the garage from the last move) and donating to Good-Will. I can't count on our next house having as much storage as our current home, therefore, I've got to get rid of stuff!!! Anyone want to help!?!
I have no clue what our next house will look like or even what state it will be in BUT I am ready to be there and make a new house our home. Having to move every 2 1/2 to 3 years really gives me something to look forward to-- its like a blank canvas and turing a new house into a home is sooo much fun.
Maybe I should journal all my creative ideas and keep them till we find a new house...
